Project Assistant - Panton Road

PROJECT ASSISTANT Chester 4 hrs/week £1,793 p.a. + Sleep-in allowance £28.85 per night Required at Panton Road, Hoole, which provides supported accommodation for young people leaving care or in urgent need of shared, supported accommodation. Staff are contracted to work from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. prior to a sleep-in duty twice a week. Duties include advising and befriending the residents, helping them to develop life skills and assisting the Project Manager in running the house. Experience in this type of work is not essential. More important is the ability to interact with the residents. You will also need to demonstrate an understanding of their needs and difficulties plus a commitment to working with young people. Applicants must be flexible, working to an agreed rota during evenings and weekends.
