Meet the ESG and Green Zone teams

The Environment and Sustainability Group (ESG)



The group is made up of our Senior Management Team, a number of our Board members, Head of Asset Management and Muir’s Environmental Officer and has been meeting on a quarterly basis since November 2009. The group is fundamentally responsible for approving the Environmental Policy, Strategy and associated action plan. Furthermore they monitor the effectiveness of our Environmental Management System and review our progress to achieving ISO14001. The ESG represents Muir’s strong commitment to both the environment and sustainability.



The Green Quest Team (GQT)


The Green Quest Team

The Green Quest team was established in October 2010 to involve a cross section of employees in helping to shape and implement the Environmental Strategy.

Each office and department is represented within the team which facilitates the communication of Muir’s environmental objectives and targets throughout the organisation.

The team also are able to feedback any suggestions or issues that have been brought to their attention either by other members of staff, residents, suppliers or contractors.

A key role of the GQT is to assist the Environmental Officer in auditing the Environmental Management System. The GQT can be identified by the their green lanyards.
