Supported Housing
Muir Group provides housing with support for many different groups of vulnerable
people. Each project provides support aimed at enabling residents to develop skills
to live independent, stable lives. The projects each support people with similar
vulnerabilities and can be either short term – up to 2 years or longer term. The
aim is to enable residents to move into their own property within stable communities.
All our projects have been accredited by Supporting People.
Each project has support workers and managers who run the project and provide support
to the residents at the project. Residents are all actively encouraged to be involved
in the management and social activities of the projects.
Muir Group also provide
floating support
and
sheltered housing
within the
supported housing department.
Muir Group provides self-contained independent living with on site support for many
different client groups mainly in Cheshire.
All schemes are permanently staffed, with at least one member of staff
on duty, but all provide overnight cover.
