Children and parents to benefit from Santa visit
BOTH children and parents could receive a free gift from Santa in the build up to Christmas, thanks to a project by three Blackpool housing and service providers.
Muir Group Housing Association, Blackpool Coastal Housing and Blackpool Council’s Reassurance Plus Team are inviting customers to join their Santa’s Free Benefits Advice Grotto (B.A.G) event, on Monday, December 7, between 3pm and 6pm.
The event is being held at The Grange Youth Centre on Grange Park Estate. Children who’s parents take part in a free welfare benefits check to make sure they are receiving enough cash from benefits will meet Father Christmas and get a free gift.
“We want to make the event fun for children, and helpful for their parents,” said Muir Group Housing Association’s Welfare Benefits Adviser Melissa Ridley.
“It will give all our customers the chance to enjoy a bit of festive fun, whilst also ensuring they are claiming all of the benefits they are entitled to.”
