COVID-19 Muir Services - Last Reviewed: 21st February 2022
The health, safety and well-being of our staff, residents and wider stakeholders is our top priority.
You should continue to report any repairs, or contact us just as you would normally.
Muir and its contractors continue to follow existing health and safety processes should a home visit be required.
Staff carry out risk assessments and quick COVID-19-related surveys before confirming appointments.
They will wear personal protective equipment (PPE) where necessary and observe social distancing guidelines.
Please let us know if any of our staff or contractors are not wearing the correct PPE or following social distancing guidelines.
If you or anyone in your household is shielding, and you are worried how that might affect any repairs you have booked, please get in touch with us.
Repairs and Maintenance
Muir continued to deliver repairs and maintenance services to residents in an efficient way throughout COVID-19, within Government guidelines.
We continue to prioritise emergency and urgent repairs, however challenges resulting from the pandemic and Brexit may impact our usual routine repairs timescales.
Like other providers in the sector, Muir faces challenges regarding the availability of components and raw materials, inflated costs and timescales for delivery.
Muir remains committed to delivering a value for money repairs and maintenance service and we’d like to thank residents for your patience and understanding during this period.
