Board Meeting Summary Notes - 25th May 2017           

 

The following is a summary of key points discussed at the Board Meeting held on 25th May 2017:

 

  1. Financial Plan 2018-2047: the Board approved the Financial Plan 2018-2047.

 

  1. Management Accounts: the Board received the Management Accounts for Quarter 4 2017 and noted the results are ahead of budget.

 

  1. ICT Infrastructure Renewal:  the Board received a report detailing the process adopted to renew the Association’s ICT Infrastructure and approved the officers’ recommendation to proceed to contract.

 

  1. Governance Framework:  the Board approved a number of documents for inclusion in the new Governance Framework.

 

  1. Self-Assessment of Compliance with the Code of Governance: the Board approved the annual self-assessment and statement of compliance with the Code of Governance

 

  1. Health & Safety Annual Report: a report on the management and monitoring of health and safety across Muir Group was reviewed.  The Board concluded that there is evidence that Health & Safety is given high prominence throughout the Association.

 

  1. Development in Cheshire: a Development Agreement to purchase 5 homes for Shared Ownership and 10 homes for Affordable Rent in Cheshire was approved.
