Board Meeting Summary Notes - 30th November 2017
The following is a summary of key points discussed at the Board Meeting held on 30th November 2017.
- Performance Report Q2 September 2017: the Board reviewed the performance report Q2 September 2017.
- MPS (Muir Property Services) Annual Report: the Board received a report providing an update on MPS key business activity; a comparison with the original business plan and the return on investment.
- Financial Plan: the Board received a report providing an update of how recent major changes to the underlying economic factors and Board objectives is forecast to affect the Association’s Financial Plan.
- Rent setting: the Board received a report seeking approval to apply increases/decreases in rent and service charges where appropriate. The Board approved the proposals as presented.
- Self-assessment – compliance statement – Code of conduct – recommendation from Group HR & Governance Committee: the Group HR & Governance Committee had reviewed a self-assessment of compliance with the Code of Conduct report. The Board approved the report and were satisfied that Association is compliant with the Code of Conduct.
- Quarterly Management Accounts Q2 September 2017 – the Board reviewed the Management Accounts to September 2017.
