Board Meeting Summary Notes - 30th November 2017           

 

The following is a summary of key points discussed at the Board Meeting held on 30th November 2017.

 

  1. Performance Report Q2 September 2017: the Board reviewed the performance report Q2 September 2017.

 

  1. MPS (Muir Property Services) Annual Report: the Board received a report providing an update on MPS key business activity; a comparison with the original business plan and the return on investment.

 

  1. Financial Plan:  the Board received a report providing an update of how recent major changes to the underlying economic factors and Board objectives is forecast to affect the Association’s Financial Plan.

 

  1. Rent setting: the Board received a report seeking approval to apply increases/decreases in rent and service charges where appropriate.  The Board approved the proposals as presented.

 

  1. Self-assessment – compliance statement – Code of conduct – recommendation from Group HR & Governance Committee: the Group HR & Governance Committee had reviewed a self-assessment of compliance with the Code of Conduct report. The Board approved the report and were satisfied that Association is compliant with the Code of Conduct.

 

  1. Quarterly Management Accounts Q2 September 2017  – the Board reviewed the  Management Accounts to September 2017.
