Housing Day

 

On Wednesday 18^th November, thousands of people from across the country got together to celebrate Housing Day.

Now in its third year, Housing Day’s aim is to celebrate the positive impact that social housing has for thousands of people across the UK.

This year’s theme was all about celebrating tenants, and we spoke to a number of people who are proud to call themselves Muir residents:

 

 

Gemma’s story

Gemma spoke of her joy at moving into her brand-new family home in Tarporley, Cheshire.

 

 

Sheila’s story

Warrington resident Sheila told us what she loves about her area.

 

 

Tony’s story

Winsford football coach Tony Mitchell spoke about his passion for helping young people.

And local vicar Helena spoke about the importance of community.
