BINGO LOVER SHOUTED ‘HOUSE’ THE SECOND SHE SAW NEW MUIR LIVING HOME
A LADY who ‘loves the Muir Living lifestyle’ never needed to look for anywhere else once she set eyes on her McCartney House home.
Betty Devaney says she found her perfect place as soon as she set foot inside the apartment at the Muir Living location in Godmanchester when she visited with her grandson.
And Betty’s never had any regrets at shouting ‘house’ as the 81-year-old enjoys a bit of Bingo with fellow residents, as well as a host of other events.
“I had an offer of three places to live with different providers but I didn’t even look at the others once I’d seen McCartney House,” Betty said.
“My grandson was with me and we both thought it was lovely here.
“I’m very happy – I love it – and I really like the events and activities, especially the Bingo and art classes.
“There’s a really nice community here and I’ve been able to have my flat exactly how I want it.
“The room sizes a really good - it couldn’t be better.”
Betty explained how she was able to request patio doors from Muir to give her instant access to her garden.
And she also enjoys peace of mind from having “a very helpful personal alarm system” too.
“I’d definitely tell anyone who’s interested to come and look around if they’re interested in independent living with Muir,” Betty said.
