BROMPTON AND NORTHALLERTON RESIDENTS ENJOY ‘JACKET POTATO DAY’ WITH MUIR

THERE were some sizzling spuds at a Muir event near Northallerton as residents enjoyed free jackets while reconnecting with their housing teams.

Muir staff descended on Danelaw Gardens in Brompton as they staged an engagement event where residents could meet members of the Association’s tenancy sustainment team and discuss any issues.

With a jacket potato van dishing out some free warm food for winter, residents also got to grips with some festive goodie bags as Muir continues to connect with communities in another year disrupted by COVID-19.

Muir staff “It was great to stage this event or residents in the area,” Mubeen Patel, Muir Contract Management Surveyor said.

“It has been frustrating that we’d not been able to respond as we’d have liked during COVID-19 so we’re pleased to have met our residents face to face again.

“We really enjoyed meeting them and being able to reassure them of Muir’s support.”

Muir residents Housing officers, members of Muir’s Property Services team, Tenancy Sustainment Officers and Tivoli – the Association’s Grounds Maintenance contractor, were all there to meet residents on the day.

Jo Commons, Community Housing Manager for Muir’s North Team said: “It was nice to speak with residents again and discuss any issues they may have.

Goodie bags“We knocked and doors and made sure as many people as possible enjoyed a jacket potato, but really it was brilliant to be back on the street in this community.

“Residents seemed to really enjoy it too and it was good to see so many people on the day.”
