Changes to Universal Credit in Cheshire begin this July
THE areas of Cheshire East and Cheshire West are due to start with the full service of Universal Credit from July.
This will be introduced to Chester Job Centre Plus and Crewe Job Centre Plus.
The Cheshire West second phase will take place in December 2017, when Ellesmere Port Job Centre Plus, Neston Job Centre Plus, Northwich Job Centre Plus and Winsford Job Centre Plus are set to go live.
Cheshire East’s second phase takes place from March 2018 when Congleton Job Centre Plus, Macclesfield Job Centre Plus and Wilmslow Job Centre Plus are also due to go live.
