CONTRACTORS TEAMED UP WITH US TO HELP PEOPLE IN NEED AT CHRISTMAS
WE WERE joined by contractors to help make sure people enjoyed the festive season by providing items to charities including Foodbanks and Save The Family.

Food and clothing donations helped Foodbank founders, The Trussell Trust, and Cheshire-based Save the Family, provide food, clothing, toiletries, toys and more to help people in need.
Muir colleagues were busy donating items themselves and buying food with funding provided by our service partners, Sureserve and Foster Property Maintenance, to help maximise the support we could provide.
Donations were also received from contractors including AB Electrical and A2B Roofing.
We transported these essential items to the charities to help people facing financial and wellbeing challenges make the most of their festive season.

“It's great to provide these donations from colleagues and receive such support from our contractors, so we could help others at a special time of year," Muir Income Services Officer, Lynne Rowell said.
"It's another great example of working together to help people facing poverty."
Colleagues also volunteered at the Connygear Community Centre in Huntingdon to support their Christmas Hamper Appea, wrapping presents and helping organise the hampers, before delivering some of those to residents in Godmanchester, Huntingdon and St Ives — and helped out at the Re-Imagine Resource Centre in Witchford, which supported ten Muir residents with festive hampers, including everything needed to make a Christmas dinner.
