GLEBE GREEN RESIDENTS ENJOY ‘GREAT DAY’ MEETING MUIR TEAMS IN SUMMER SUN

‘A GREAT day’ for Glebe Green residents saw them meet Muir teams and emergency services as they queued for free ice-creams to help beat the summer sun.

Residents of the Winsford estate enjoyed the chance to meet teams from across Muir’s departments while enjoying some golden games including games including welly throwing and penalty shootouts competitions.

Glebe green eventMuir and MPS (Muir Property Solutions) were joined by police and fire services as well as the Tivoli grounds maintenance and Liberty teams among others.

There was even a visit from Muir’s National Residents Group member, Dave Washington masquerading as ‘Del Boy’ in the Trotter’s infamous three-wheeled van, as well as local councillor, Luke Daniels.

“It was a great day to meet with residents and enjoy some fun in the sun,” Paul Taylor, Muir Tenancy Services Officer for Cheshire East and Warrington said.

“It was really good to have emergency services and recycling teams, as well as ground maintenance staff from Tivoli taking part in the day’s events too.

Glebe Green event“Our housing and property services teams were able to provide some helpful fire safety advice and tenancy sustainment support for residents.

“And they could speak to us while staying cool in the sun with some free ice-creams on the day.

“Muir residents said they’d like to see more of us when we spoke with them in #TheBigChat, and we were more than happy to arrange an event that could be enjoyed by everyone on the Glebe Green estate.”
