WHEN David decided to share his experience of living at one of Muir’s sheltered housing schemes, we were delighted to hear what he had to say.
Tweedsmuir is a safe and secure sheltered housing environment for people where independent living is encouraged and ‘living for life’ is their motto.
David Briggs said he likes the variety of life he gets from living there and the opportunities he has to enjoy trips with other residents while also retaining an independent lifestyle.
The 38 one-bedroom flats all have their own kitchen, lounge, bathroom and bedroom.
And the scheme benefits from a communal lounge where activities take place on a regular basis.
“I like living at Tweedsmuir because it’s very nice,” David said.
“There’s always activities to go on. Muir are very good.
“I’m happy all round really.”
