HOUSING TEAM ‘WALKS THE BEAT’ WITH RESIDENTS IN WARRINGTON IMPACT DAY

HOUSING officers have been ‘on the beat’ with residents as part of an Impact Day in Warrington.
They teamed up with Longbarn Residents Association, councillors and police to learn more about how residents enjoy living in Muir homes and work to resolve any issues they may face.
Muir’s Tenancy Services Officers and Tenancy Sustainment Officers took to the streets to support people in Muir communities, and said it was great to spend time chatting about how they can work with councils, police and their local residents’ association to achieve positive outcomes for people there.
“We have good, close communities in Warrington, and it was lovely to meet some new residents and see some familiar faces,” Alison Reade, Muir Tenancy Services Officer said.
“It was nice to spend time chatting to people and learn more about how we can help.
“It’s great to build relationships with residents and show how we work with partners to maintain communities and help keep people safe and happy.”
Alison was joined by fellow Tenancy Services Officer, Jamie Hogarth, and Tenancy Sustainment Officer, Judith Molony who was able to inform residents about the how she can support any Safeguarding concerns and provide financial help when times are tough.
“It was great to meet with residents,” Jamie said.
“We enjoy being visible in Muir communities and we work closely with police to help keep people safe.
“People were able to share their views and by listening and acting on feedback we can understand how we can help keep them happy in their homes.”
