KATHLEEN LIKES ‘MUIR LIVING’ COMFORT AS IT HELPS HER STAY SOCIAL
KATHLEEN Parton says the comfort of the Shalom Lodge ‘Muir Living’ location is one of the reasons she’s called it home for the last seven years.
The 62-year-old told us she’s always got someone to talk to thanks to the sociable nature of the scheme – with help on-hand if ever she needs it.
She says she can also enjoy some quiet time too and believes she has the best of both worlds with friends, fresh air and amenities right outside her own front door.
“I feel safe here,” Kathleen said. “And I can always get help whenever I need it.
“I can pop into the communal areas at Shalom Lodge and see people – there’s always someone to talk to.
“I really enjoy socialising and living here means I’m always really near to everything.”
The Shalom Lodge site in the heart of Lytham St Annes puts residents within a short walk of the sea, the Victorian promenade and local shops, as well as being a short hop from the bright lights of Blackpool.
“I can go to the seafront whenever I want,” said Kathleen.
“It’s lovely to be outside in the garden at Shalom Lodge in the summer too.
“I do feel really comfortable. I can speak with people or enjoy some peace and quiet, so I have a bit of everything.”
