LODGE RESIDENTS SAY THEY’RE LOOKING FORWARD TO ENJOYING THE MUIR LIVING LIFESTYLE
TWO residents say they’re looking forward to seeing how their Muir Living lifestyle evolves as they enjoy life at the latest of the Association’s independent living locations.
Fred and June Grimshaw say they love the convenience of the Shalom Lodge scheme in Lytham St Annes, after it became part of Muir Living following a stock transfer earlier this year.
The couple, who previously enjoyed life in a static caravan before moving to the scheme, say Shalom Lodge gives them greater opportunities to socialise with fellow residents and enjoy taking in the fresh sea air, just a few minutes’ walk from their own front door.
“We like the area,” said 82-year-old June.
“We walk to the prom every day and can walk into town within ten minutes.
“Shalom Lodge is in a very convenient location and we like being able to come into the communal room and see other people whenever we want.”
The couple said they decided to park their static caravan for good when they switched addresses to Shalom Lodge and are keen to see how Muir Living can support them to live the lifestyles they love.
“We’re very satisfied with how safe we feel here,” said Fred, 80.
“We feel a part of things here and we’re looking forward to seeing how Muir Living evolves at Shalom Lodge.”
