‘MAGNIFICENT’ MUIR RESIDENT CLEANS COMMUNITY CAR PARK AS HE SHOWS GREAT PRIDE IN PLACE

A ‘MAGNIFICENT’ Muir resident has been taking pride in his community by helping Muir refit a car park serving his friends and neighbours.

David Parry, jumped into action as soon as Muir Property Solutions and Calor Gas arrived to update gas tanks at St Wenefrede’s Green in Bickley Moss, Cheshire recently.

Fitting the tanks, which had reached the end of their life-span, meant additional works to the car park due to changes made to where they were installed.

And Mr Parry was praised for giving operatives all the help he could by providing some great hospitality and single-handedly jet-washing the entire car park ready for new parking lines to be painted.

Muir resident “It was magnificent to see how Mr Parry was so keen to help on behalf of his Muir community,” Natalie Williams, Muir Tenancy Services Officer said.

“He welcomed operatives and made sure they enjoyed doing a difficult job as much as possible.

“A decision was made to replace the existing two gas tanks with one bigger tank, moving it further into the car park which meant additional works to that and surrounding areas.

Car park “The fact that Mr Parry also took it upon himself to jet-wash the whole area ready for new lines to be painted was a great example of taking pride in place in the area near his Muir home.”

Relocating the tank in this way has also ensured they are moved further from people’s homes in the immediate area.
