MORE NEW AFFORDABLE HOMES ‘CHANGING LIVES’ FOR MUIR RESIDENTS
THREE new properties in a Cheshire village are welcoming new Muir residents.
Situated in Kelsall, near Chester, two one-bed homes were made available for affordable rent, while a four-bed property was sold for shared ownership with Homes By Muir.
The properties will help make living in the village more affordable for some Kelsall residents who have seen escalating house prices restrict renting and purchase options.
“I’m always proud of what we do but sometimes there are moments which show how truly life-changing our work can be,” Alex Fury, Muir’s Assistant Director of Assets and Growth said.
“Providing properties in places where they’re really needed is so important for communities and Muir’s Building New Homes strategy focuses on doing just that.
“These affordable properties will make great homes for people and allow them to remain in an area they love.”
Built by developers Archway Homes, the three properties have already started welcoming new residents through their doors.
Sophie Whittingham, Muir’s Development Manager said: “It was very exciting to receive handover of these homes which have been built to a really high standard.
“We are now looking forward to seeing them enjoyed by new Muir residents as they settle in and make each house their home.”
