WE WERE thrilled to introduce new repairs providers to you at events across the East and Northallerton areas.

Our unique ‘getting to know you’ events allowed Fosters Property Maintenance and Aaron Gas Limited to greet residents at several East region event days.

And Muir Property Solutions (MPS) were joined by Liberty in Northallerton as housing teams also joined in with coffee morning’s, skip days and other activities in both areas.

“We were really pleased to introduce new repairs providers to residents in our East and Northallerton areas,” Nik Evans, Assistant Director of Property Services at Muir said.

“The events were a great opportunity to meet Fosters and MPS after they took on repairs and maintenance responsibilities in November last year.

“We’ve seen repairs satisfaction increase as a result of the changes we made, and we’re delighted to know residents are seeing improvements to the service.”

Members of Muir’s housing teams joined the new repairs providers as well as gas servicing teams, Aaron and Liberty at events in Reading, Northampton, Huntingdon, Worcester and Northallerton – door knocking, helping to remove unwanted items, enjoying coffee mornings, free ice-cream vans, refreshments and more throughout July and August.

Satisfaction with repairs quality among East region residents hit 100% in May 2024, just seven months after welcoming Fosters as our new repairs and maintenance contractor in the area.

“Simon Rudkin, Muir’s Community Housing Manager in the East region said: “It was great to see residents coming out to see us and the repairs teams at the events.

“We really enjoyed introducing our new repairs providers to them.

“The events enabled residents to ask questions and learn more about the new providers, as well as the gas servicing done by Aaron and Liberty.

“And housing teams loved being out in the community with residents too.

“We’re pleased to learn the new providers are making our repairs and maintenance service easier, smarter and better for you.”
