EIGHTEEN new apartments are being built for Blackpool as Muir unveils its latest development in the area.
Work has just begun on the 18 one and two-bed apartments coming to the town’s Whitegate Drive – with completion anticipated in Spring 2023.
The apartments, being built for Muir by Paul Cook Developments, follow hot on the heels of the Association’s recent 44-home development in Blackpool’s Watson Road, as well as a total of 56 properties in nearby Fylde including Cropper Road, Warton and Wrea Green.
“We’re thrilled to be creating so many affordable housing options for people and families in Blackpool and Fylde,” Alex Fury, Muir’s Assistant Director of Assets and Growth (pictured) said.
“Bringing more affordable housing to the area in the shape of these 18 apartments at Whitegate Drive is a fantastic opportunity for people seeking affordable housing.
“We’ve already delivered 100 new affordable homes in the area during the last four years, and we’re delighted to continue our commitment to providing quality and affordable properties that can provide an answer to rising house prices.”
Groundwork began on the Muir’s Whitegate Drive development in January as the Association kick-started 2022 with another amazing development scheme.
And with diggers on-site, we can’t wait to welcome new residents into the apartments next year.
