NEW MUIR APARTMENTS ARE ON THE RISE AS 18 GROW IN BLACKPOOL
EIGHTEEN new Muir apartments are on the rise in Blackpool.
Work began in February on the one and two-bedroom apartments coming to Whitegate Drive – with completion anticipated in spring 2023.
The apartments are quickly climbing skywards as Muir works with Paul Cook Developments to prepare them for new residents.
And Alex Fury, Muir’s Assistant Director of Assets and Growth says he’s thrilled to be bringing more affordable homes to Blackpool with the Association having provided more than 100 to the area in the last four years.
“These 18 apartments are creating more fantastic affordable housing opportunities for people in the area,” Alex said.
“We’re thrilled to be creating so many affordable housing options for people and families in Blackpool and Fylde having already recently delivered a 44-home development in Blackpool’s Watson Road and a total of 56 properties in nearby Fylde including Cropper Road, Warton and Wrea Green.
“Muir is continuing its commitment to providing a range of quality, affordable housing options that can help provide answers to rising house prices in the area.”
The new apartments have quickly been taking shape as the latest pictures of the development show and Annette Westwater, Muir Development Officer said: “We’re already imagining residents opening the doors to these apartments.
“It’s exciting to see the work taking place and the progress being made.
“They will provide great housing options for people seeking affordable properties to rent in Blackpool.”
