NEW REPAIRS PROVIDER FOR RESIDENTS IN OUR EAST AND NORTHALLERTON AREAS

We’re delighted to announce new repairs and maintenance providers for residents in our East region and Northallerton area.

We know the current service hasn’t reached the standard you and other residents in your area expect. We’ve worked hard to deliver improvements as repairs have taken too long. We’re really sorry for any upset this caused.

We’ve listened to feedback from #TheBigChat and concerns and complaints raised by customers and your National Residents Group (NRG).

We’re committed to putting things right and have acted with the NRG and our Board to improve our repairs and maintenance service to make things easier, smarter, and better for you. 

 

What’s happening, and when?

On 31st October 2023, our contract with Kier will end. 
From 1st November 2023…

  • Foster Property Maintenance Ltd. will be our new repairs provider for the East region.
  • Aaron Gas Ltd. will be our gas maintenance provider for the East region.
  • Muir Property Solutions (MPS) will be our new repairs provider for the Northallerton area.
  • Liberty will continue as our gas maintenance provider in Northallerton.

Getting to know the new teams 

Our new contractors will be holding events across your region to introduce themselves and learn more about how they can improve repairs and maintenance for you. 

We’ll let you know when they’re due to visit your area, along with your Community Housing team. 

 

What to expect

We’re working to make sure everything switches over behind the scenes and that our colleagues have everything they need to help the new contracts settle in and run smoothly.
