RESIDENT SAYS SUPPORT SHE’S RECEIVED MAKES MUIR HER ‘BEST LANDLORD EVER’

A NEW resident says she and her young son are enjoying a “fresh start” after describing Muir as her ‘best landlord ever’.

Twenty-one-year-old Chelsea Birchall moved into her Muir home just a few months ago and says she’s benefiting from support she’s received from the Association’s Tenancy Services and Sustainment officers.

She found moving with Muir to be a “really positive experience” and says she feels completely at ease thanks to the help she’s had.

Muir resident“Muir are the best landlord I’ve had,” Chelsea said.

“I was anxious about moving but it was a really quick process and I’ve been made to feel comfortable.

“I asked for some extra help and Muir have been really easy to talk to.

Muir resident“My Tenancy Services Officer answers all of my questions really easily and I’ve also had lots of support for the Sustainment Officer.

“They’ve helped me sort out my Council Tax, a Wellbeing Grant for new flooring, and some decorating vouchers which has made everything lovely.”

Having moved to be closer to family, Chelsea says her two-year-old son is settling in well too.

Muir resident“I feel like I have a lot of support and am confident living alone with my son because I can get help from Muir very easily if I need it,” Chelsea said.

“I’m in a very convenient area and my neighbours are all very nice.

“It’s been a really positive experience.”

Muir Sustainment Officer, Sophie Powter, pictured above with Chelsea said: "It's been wonderful to help Chelsea settle into her new home and see how it's made such a difference for her."
