RESIDENTS LIGHT UP LIVES AT MUIR LIVING LOCATIONS WITH ‘FANTASTIC’ LAMP CREATIONS

RESIDENTS have been lighting up their days at Muir Living locations by getting creative and making some innovative home-made lamps.

They’ve let their creativity shine by creating a range of lovely light bottles and tea-lights as their imagination flourished – showing off some fantastic art skills too.

The residents made the most of their opportunity to produce some fantastic designs and enjoy making some eye-catching lamps that will help light up their apartments as well as colouring communal areas around their homes.

Lamp  “We loved seeing residents get creative and some of the things they’ve produced are absolutely beautiful,” Jennifer Hutchinson, Independent Living Officer at the Fusilier Court Muir Living location in Bury said.

“Seeing the lamps they’ve produced from bottles and jars shining around the room felt absolutely magical.

Muir residents “Muir Living residents bring plenty of light to all of our lives every day, but to see them enjoying lighting up Fusilier Court in their way was lovely to see.”

The craft event was just one of a host of things Muir Living residents have the opportunity to enjoy at Muir Living schemes – having recently celebrated the Chinese New Year to help ensure January gives everyone a bright start to 2023.

Lamp Lorna Clare, Independent Living Officer at Tweedsmuir in Chester said: “We had so much fun in the lamp-making session – it really was enjoyable.

“To see residents creating something or themselves and each other was really fabulous.
