Savills Conducting Home Condition Visits on Behalf of Muir

SAVILLS will be visiting some residents to perform stock condition checks on behalf of Muir during the next few weeks.

The property consultants will be performing the checks on 150 properties to help ensure Muir has the latest information with which to assess planned maintenance, such as kitchen and bathroom upgrades.

Savills have sent letters to notify the residents who can expect visits from them, and those residents are asked to allow access so Muir can stay-up-to-date with what planned maintenance may need doing in their homes.

Tony Jones Tony Jones, Muir’s Assets Planning and Contract Manager (pictured) said: “The visits are important as they allow us to assess the condition of properties and see what maintenance we need to plan for in these homes.

“There will be very minimal disruption during these visits, which include a brief assessment that should take up to one hour.

“We thank residents for their cooperation with these visits and their understanding about why they are necessary to ensure we maintain Muir’s housing stock - their homes - effectively.”
