NOTHING matters more to Muir than ensuring residents are safe inside their home.
Keeping People Safe is one of the Association’s six main strategies, and our Property Services Team work hard to deliver on that.
That’s why Muir conducted Fire Risk Assessments in 100% of all schemes with communal areas, and supported housing schemes in 2017-18.
We also completed 100% of asbestos checks, and 100% of Legionella tests in accordance with our responsibilities as a social housing provider.
Muir saw to it that 100% of lift inspections were also conducted, and we undertook electrical inspections in 98% of all Muir properties too.
Revamping the structure of the Property Services Team in 2017-18 was also important to improve how it operates.
Enhancing the delivery of our maintenance service, including repairs, upgrades and more, is a vital part of how Muir maintains its relationship with residents.
