SOLICITORS MAKE A GRAND DONATION TO FOODBANKS AS THEY SUPPORT MUIR’S CHARITY OF THE YEAR

SOLICITORS have made a grand donation to Muir’s Foodbank fund as they bid to give people a joyful start to 2019.

Chester-based law firm, Aaron and Partners, arranged for £1,000 in food to be donated to the foodbanks via Muir, who are fundraising for Foodbank founders, The Trussell Trust, as its charity of the year.

FoodbankThe generous donation was also given a ten per cent boost by providing supermarket, Morrisons, and Aaron and Partners representative, Jan Chillery, visited Muir to present the food which was gratefully received by the Association on behalf of West Cheshire Foodbank.

Foodbank“Everyone at Aaron and Partners is very pleased to be supporting the Foodbank alongside Muir Group Housing Association,” said Jan, who is also a non-executive member of the Muir Group Board.

“We hope this donation can benefit many families following the Christmas period and help them enjoy a positive start to the New Year.

Foodbank volunteers help provide a vital lifeline to so many people, and Aaron and Partners really wanted to recognise those efforts while contributing to the welfare of people in need.”

FoodbankThe donation was collected from Muir’s Chester head office by dedicated Foodbank volunteers before being readied for distribution to people and families in the North West.

Tenancy Services Officer, Lynne Rowell, a member of Muir’s own ‘TAG’ staff association said: “We were delighted to receive such a fabulous donation from Aaron and Partners on behalf of the Foodbanks.

“The donation is a fantastic way to start the year and will help make a very positive difference to people facing poverty.

"Thank you to everyone at Aaron and Partners for contributing towards Muir’s charity of the year in such a wonderful way.”
