WATCH – LATEST FOOTAGE OF WORK AT INCLUSIVE THIRTY-ONE HOME MUIR DEVELOPMENT FOR FYLDE

PROGRESS is back underway at a 31-home Muir affordable housing development following lockdown.

Workers were keen to recommence efforts following the end of Government COVID-19 restrictions that forced them to down tools at the Cropper Road site in Fylde.

Twelve one-bed and four two-bed flats, six two-bedroomed houses and nine 3-bed homes are all under construction after groundworks got underway almost 12 months ago.

Cropper Road development Muir Development Officer, Annette Westwater, said the sight of Holmpatrick Developments workers moving onto the site has brought new levels of expectation to the properties being built.

“It’s really exciting to see work back underway,” said Annette.

“Obviously we’ve had to be really patient during lockdown, but we were always itching to get things going again so we can provide the affordable housing that people need in this area.

“Seeing things happening on site again has hightened expectation and we’re determined to welcome new residents into these homes as soon as possible.”

Cropper Road drone footage video The Cropper Road development follows hot on the heels of another Muir development in Fylde which saw Muir deliver five new shared ownership homes for the area in 2019.

“Developing a range of one and two-bed flats, and two and three-bed houses for rent at Cropper Road, as well as the shared ownership options in Wrea Green, really does show Muir’s commitment to providing an inclusive range of affordable housing options to suit all needs in the area,” Annette said.
