YOUNG COUPLE FIND THEIR ‘FOREVER HOME’ WITH MUIR AS SHARED OWNERSHIP HELPS THEM PREPARE FOR FAMILY LIFE
A YOUNG couple say they’ve found their ‘forever home’ with Muir as they prepare to welcome their first child.
Becky Dunn and Rhys Vaudrey began the new year with a new home as they moved into one of Muir’s beautiful three-bed shared ownership homes at Bayley Croft near Nantwich.
The Willaston property is also set to enjoy the patter of tiny feet later this month as if to give things the final family feel inside.
And Becky says they’re pleased shared ownership has given them the chance to buy a home in an area they liked, and close to the couple’s parents – which may just come in handy for some occasional babysitting we think!
“We needed a house, but we didn’t want to rent and we couldn’t afford to buy a home in the area we wanted,” said Becky, 27.
“Rhys looked into shared ownership, which was something I’d never really heard about, and things really went from there.
“We saw Muir’s homes in Bayley Croft on Rightmove and they are really nice houses.
“The area is nice and so are the schools so I think we might have found our forever home.
“Having a shared ownership home means we can buy more shared in the future and one day own the home, which is a long-term goal.
“It’s such a nice house and we’d like to be here for a long time.”
Becky said the couple’s parents were also pleased to see the pair move into a nice home nearby, and important that she and Rhys, 21, could remain close to them.
Now, Becky added they are looking forward to spending some time in the garden with their impending new arrival this summer and said: “The move with Muir was absolutely fine.
“Gill and Anne (from Muir’s Home Ownership Team) were really helpful, and we’re really pleased to have moved in.”
