YOUNGSTERS A HIT WITH MUIR LIVING RESIDENTS ON ACTIVITY DAYS AND SPOOKY HALLOWEEN VISIT!
NURSERY children have been making friends with Muir Living residents as they enjoy regular activities and dressed up for some Halloween fun.
The children from Grange House Day Nursery in Little Sutton have been visiting Muir Living residents at Muir’s Living’s Smithy Court location near Ellesmere Port.
They’ve quickly become friends as they’ve enjoyed reading sessions, and other activities, putting a smile on resident’s faces, as well as a few frights as they all got into the Halloween spirit.
“Residents have loved getting to know the nursery children and making friends,” Kitty Wong, Smithy Court’s Muir Independent Living Officer said.
“Everyone gets so much out of it and it’s been great to see them all coming together.
“We’ve been sharing stories, and having reading and activity sessions on weekly visits, and they’ve even shared their Halloween party with residents too.
“It was great to enjoy some spooky treats and we’ve got more things planned in the weeks ahead too.”
There’s been that much fun to be had that residents are already looking forward to outdoor snakes and ladders, armchair fitness and nursery sin-a-longs, as well as an outdoor classroom in Spring.
