31-HOME FYLDE OF DREAMS AS MUIR CREATES CROPPER ROAD COMMUNITY
THE latest images of Muir’s 31-home development in Fylde show how close they are to creating a new community at Cropper Road.
Nine three-bed and six two-bedroom houses, along with 12 one-bed and four two-bed flats, are all nearing completion since spades first struck soil in 2019.
With all 31 properties being made available for affordable rent, they will begin welcoming new Muir residents this summer, despite the project having to overcome COVID-19 restrictions along the way.
Situated just ten minutes from Blackpool’s famous Pleasure Beach, and a mere seven miles from the airport, the new homes will give Muir residents a great location from which to enjoy an affordable lifestyle.
“We’re really excited to see this development making such good progress and provide a light at the end of the tunnel for people and families living through lockdowns,” Alex Fury, Muir’s Assistant Director of Assets and Growth said.
“The range of properties Muir is providing at Cropper Road means there is something for everyone on this development and we are really proud to deliver them.
“We hope these quality affordable homes will help to establish a thriving new community at Cropper Road.

The properties, being built by Holmpatrick Developments, benefit from Homes England funding and are the latest to be brought to the area by Muir.
They follow a five-home shared ownership development at nearby Wrea Green, as well as a 44-home affordable housing community at Blackpool’s Watson Road – both of which were completed since the beginning of 2019.
