BOARD MEMBERS ENJOY VISITING MUIR COMMUNITIES TO HELP SHAPE DECISIONS

BOARD members have been visiting residents as they took a trip to communities in our North region.
They visited communities across the region including Rainhall Crescent in Barnoldswick, Pendlemist View in Colne, Great Marsden Place in Nelson, Tentre in Burnley and more.
It gave them a chance to see more of how the work we do is benefiting people and places.
“Muir Group Board members joined our Executive Management Team to enjoy a tour of some of our communities in the North region,” Emma Robinson, Muir’s Assistant Director of Neighbourhoods said.
“It was great for them to meet residents and see more of how the work we do is impacting people.
“The Board work with our National Residents Group (NRG) and it’s important to see how decisions they make together benefit people and communities.
“Visits like this can also influence Board discussions and decisions.
“Members learnt a lot and found the visit very valuable.”
The visit came as Board members also prepare to get out and about as part of The Big Chat – taking place from April to September 2025.
They’ll join colleagues from across Muir in visiting communities to understand what matters most to residents.
