BUILDING NEW AFFORDABLE HOMES IN OUR EAST REGION
WE’VE been building even more new affordable homes in our East region communities!
We delivered 40 new homes for affordable rent and shared ownership throughout our East region in 2025-26 – providing more people with properties to be proud of in places they love.
They formed part of our Building New Homes Strategy which will see us deliver 500 new homes from 2022-27 in our East and Northern regions – with 100 of those completed last year.
The 40 East region homes included 25 for affordable rent and 15 for shared ownership with Homes by Muir.
They included developments in Ketton, Melton, South Kesteven, Huntingdon and Peterborough.
“We’re proud to be providing new affordable homes in our East region,” Alex Fury, Muir Assistant Director of Development said.
“They help keep communities together at process people can afford with a range of tenures and shared ownership opportunities available.
“Providing 57 new affordable homes shows our commitment to the region and these properties form an important part of our Building New Homes Strategy.
“There’s more on the horizon in 2026-26 and we’re pleased to be working with developers and local authorities in our East region to provide affordable homes for people to be proud of.”
We’re currently working on more East region developments in Peterborough, Grantham and Melton Mowbray.
