Can 'Big Energy Saving Week' help cut the cost of your household bills?
MUIR is supporting the nation’s sixth ‘Big Energy Saving Week’.
Big Energy Saving Week is a partnership between Citizens Advice, the Energy Saving Trust and the Department of Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy; with the support of many organisations, charities and companies.
Citizens Advice are leading on the campaign this year to help consumers manage their fuel bills; by spreading awareness of methods to save money and energy, signposting consumers to information and helping those experiencing problems to access support.
Muir is also instrumental in helping many customers to save money on utilities by offering financial advice to tenants seeking to cut down on their bills.
Jennifer Toner, a Tenancy Services Officer at Muir (pictured) said: “Muir is delighted to be supporting Big Energy Week.
“We hope that as many residents as possible will take some time to see how they can save money on their household bills.
“A little can make a big difference and I would encourage residents to visit the Citizens Advice website to see what money saving events could help them in their area.
“Muir also has its own money advice team which works to help residents manage and save money so residents can also get in touch with us to speak with one of our money advisors by calling 0300 123 1222.”
Big Energy Saving Week, which runs until November 6th, is a national campaign to help people cut their fuel bills and get all the financial support they are entitled to.
The week focuses on raising public awareness of how to switch energy supplier or tariff to get the best deal and make homes energy efficient.
