CELEBRATE YOUR COMMUNITY'S 'LOCKDOWN HEROES' WITH MUIR
CELEBRATE your lockdown heroes and ensure they get the recognition they deserve with Muir.
Muir wants to help you celebrate the people who risked their safety to help others in their community during the COVID-19 lockdown.
Many among you went above and beyond to help neighbours and fellow residents – ensuring essential items and services were always at your door.
Now Muir residents can give them something back – recognising their efforts beyond the usual 'thank you' and giving them ‘lockdown hero’ status - nominating them by filling in the quick form below.
Nominate the people who helped ease your worries and take the stress out of shielding, isolation, or coronavirus restrictions.
Maybe they brought your prescriptions, walked your dogs, did your shopping, brought you together online, or simply made you smile.
There are two categories – one for Muir residents – and one for others in the community who helped Muir residents.
Make sure you enter before the October 31st deadline!
Nominate a Muir resident
This could be someone who may have shopped for neighbours, brought prescriptions, walked dogs, set-up online groups, befriended people who faced lockdown alone to provide support, arranged WhatsApp (or similar) groups to ensure communities could keep in touch, painted stones, were a key worker, arranged games, book swaps – indeed anyone who sacrificed time with their own family to help others despite the risk.
Nominate a non-Muir resident
This could be someone who did any or all of the above to help people within a Muir community; maybe a teacher who worked hard to keep children engaged during lockdown, people who arranged exercise sessions to help keep others feeling good, a shopkeeper who delivered items by hand and made sure their premises were safe to visit, perhaps a local gym or club provided services in a different way to help your wellbeing, or someone who raised funds for a local cause during lockdown.
Fill in the form below to submit your nomination.
