COMPETITION WINNER ‘WOULD SAY NO TO ANY OTHER LANDLORD’ AS SHE ENJOYS LIFE WITH MUIR
A COMPETITION winner says she never wants to move from Muir after she snapped up our £50 prize.
Winsford resident, seventy-five-year-old Patricia Thompson, was the winner of Muir’s September Ezine competition after being pulled from a hat containing entrants who answered the newsletter’s three questions correctly.
A Muir resident for 16 years, Patricia said she was “absolutely astounded” to learn about the win and explained why she loves living with the Association.
“The thing with Muir is that you can rely on them,” she said.
“Sometimes things don’t happen straight away but whenever you call them you always get an answer to your question.
“I’ve recommended Muir to other people in the past and I wouldn’t want to move to live with anyone else.
“If someone offered me the same bungalow with another association, I’d have to say no.”
Patricia says the bungalow she enjoys with two of her sons is perfect for her mobility needs, with a wet room giving her great access and a “good size garden” as well.
“The bungalow and the wet room really suit me and any repairs that have been needed always get done.
“We recently had a new boiler too.”
Patricia also enjoys receiving Muir’s email magazine too saying: “It always tells you about things that are going on and I do like to read it when it arrives.”
