COURT MESSENGER JUDGES MUIR LIVING TO BE HER ‘LUCKY LIFESTYLE’

PAT Marchment judges herself “really lucky” to have her Muir Living home having spent a career in the courts.

The 82-year-old former Court Messenger says she’s full of confidence in McCartney House after moving to the Godmanchester Muir Living location to be closer to family.

And having also worked as a sewing machinist, Pat says she’s got her new life ‘all sewn up’ as it quickly came to feel like home.

Muir resident “It’s a really nice place,” Pat said.

“Everybody is friendly and the events they have here help many people come together.

“I love it here and I feel really lucky to have the flat.

“I’m very settled. It began to feel like home very quickly and everyone who visits me loves it too.”

Pat says the personal alarm cords give her extra confidence and that she feels secure in her environment.

Muir resident “Where I lived before wasn’t like this,” she said.

“It’s more enclosed here and I feel much more secure.

“The manager here is really nice and I’ve got plants outside my window.

“I like to watch the birds outside I am really happy.”
