DAD LOOKING FORWARD TO HOSTING CHRISTMAS FOR HIS KIDS IN NEW HOME
A FATHER is looking forward to hosting a cracking Christmas for his children as he decorates his new home for the festive season.
Tomasz Cwiklak got the keys to a Chester flat just a few weeks ago, and he’s excited to have somewhere for his children to stay with him in time for Christmas.
He’s already decorated the whole property ready to see in the New Year.
We caught up with him just before he went out to get a Christmas tree and some decorations to give it that festive feel.

“I really can’t wait for Christmas now,” Tomasz, who’s originally from Poland, said.
“I'd basically become homless and staying with friends so it’ll be really special to have my children in my new home for Christmas – I want them to feel happy.”
Having been a Muir resident for six years previously, a relationship break-up saw him sofa surfing with friends and worrying whether he’d have a home to share with his children, aged 17 and 10, when Christmas came.
But he was delighted when we found him another place to call ‘home’.
“It’s perfect – I'm really happy with the flat and it’s in a great location,” Tomasz, 39, said.
“My children have their own rooms which gives me more time with them as they’ll be able to stay regularly.
“I wanted to make everything cosy and there’s a little garden too. I’ve decorated and got things the way I wanted.
“I’m pleased to remain a Muir resident – I've never had any problems with that.
“If I’ve ever need something doing it’s always been done.
“My daughter has a physical disability and we’re going to be making changes to the shower so it’s easier for her, so I’m grateful Muir are allowing that.”
Tomasz, who enjoys going fishing when he’s not working or spending time with his children added: “I could see my vision for the flat from the moment I walked in.
“Now it’s so nice that once I’ve sat down I don’t really want to go out again.”
