Development of new Muir properties continues to progress
PROGRESS on an exciting development of new Muir homes continues to generate plenty of interest.
The 16 two and three-bedroom properties being built at Hawleys Lane in Warrington will provide affordable rented accommodation and are set to complete in Spring 2017.
Benefiting from Homes and Communities Agency funding, the development is helping to support regeneration of the Bewsey and Dallam areas of Warrington.
It is one of a number of developments taking place across the country as Muir Group Housing Association continues to add to its existing portfolio, while providing much needed affordable accommodation.
Sam Scott, Muir’s Executive Director of Operations said: “This is another exciting development which Muir can be proud of and we are looking forward to seeing it completed in the New Year.
“Interest in the development grows with each week that passes.”
A development of five new Muir bungalows is also currently underway in Godmanchester, Huntingdon, while Cheshire builds including those at Saxon Heath in Tarvin, and Cheshire Limes in Lockstock Gralam, completed in July.
They are part of the active development programme Muir has committed to in its bid to help address the shortage of affordable accommodation in the UK.
