DEVOTED NORTHWICH RESIDENT WINS MUIR’S £50 EZINE JACKPOT!

A MUIR resident who has devoted her career to helping children with special needs has scooped the Association’s £50 ezine prize.

Northwich resident, Dot Beresford, got all three questions right in Muir’s May 2021 email magazine competition, before her name was pulled from a hat with the other correct entrants.

Dot says she has enjoyed being a Muir resident for the past six years and loves living in the town where she spent 25 years working in a special needs school, before becoming a receptionist at a Day Centre providing services for adults with special needs too.

“I always wanted to help children and to see many of them now attending the Day Centre as adults is really nice – we share lots of stories,” said Dot, 65.

“I enjoy living in Northwich, it’s a lovely place and I can’t fault Muir – they are brilliant.

“I live in a nice place by the water and I think Muir give good service. I don’t have any problems.”

Dot says she enjoys reading the regular Muir ‘Ezine’ email magazine as it keeps her up to date with things that are going on.

“I think it is good and interesting.

“It has information about different services and I am very pleased to win the prize.”
