‘ECSTATIC’ RESIDENT SAYS SHE’S PROUD TO HAVE NEW KITCHEN AND BATHROOM
‘ECSTATIC’ Glenis Oakes says she’s really proud of her new kitchen and bathroom.
The Winsford resident needed a new bathroom to help with her changing needs after spending time in hospital.
Now she told us she feels at home again after we made her bathroom access easier and installed a new kitchen too.

“I’m really pleased, ecstatic,” Glenis said.
“The changes to the bathroom have made a big difference.
“I needed a wet room to make access easier so I rang Muir to explain my situation and they were very understanding.”
The We’re Muir planned maintenance team ensured we could help maximise Glenis’ quality of life by providing the new bathroom.
And she was also due to have a new kitchen too.
"We're delighted to have helped ensure Glenis remains happy in her home by making sure she has an accessible bathroom," Nick Collins, Muir Planned Maintenance Team Leader (Pictured with Muir's Senior Contract Support Officer, Emma Hughes) said.
"Glenis was also due to have a new kitchen so the work that's been done in both rooms will help make a big difference to her home."
“The work didn’t bother me at all because I knew it would be nice when it was done,” Glenis, 68, said.
“The support from the team was really good and they worked with me to choose the tiles and worktops I wanted.
“I’m really made up with the new kitchen – it’s a lot brighter in there now.
“I’ve been a Muir resident for 18 years and I enjoy being with them – I’ve never had any problems,” she said.
