WHEN we do repairs, maintenance or a regular service at your home, you can check to see the person at your door is who they say they are.
Our repairs teams and contractors always wear uniforms, carry identity badges and drive clearly branded vehicles.
Ask to see their identity badge before allowing them into your home or call us on 0300 123 1222 if you think something’s wrong – particularly if they’ve turned up unannounced.
We tell you when we’re coming to your home for repairs, planned maintenance, or regular services such as gas or electrical checks.
If someone turns up without an appointment – ask them to wait in their van while you call us, so we can confirm who they are.
They should be happy to wait.
