‘FABULOUS’ FIRST CROMWELL ABBEY HOMES PREPARE TO WELCOME NEW MUIR RESIDENTS IN RAMSEY
THE first of 40 ‘fabulous’ new homes are ready to welcome more Muir residents in Ramsey.
Ten of the new properties have now been handed over to Muir as the 40-home Cromwell Abbey development promises to provide a blend of affordable rent and shared ownership opportunities.
Muir’s Cromwell Abbey homes are bringing two and three-bed houses, and one-bed maisonettes to the area.
“It’s fabulous to receive the first ten Cromwell Abbey homes and we can’t wait to welcome their new residents,” Alex Fury, Muir’s Assistant Director of Assets and Growth said.
“The properties will help beat rising rental prices, and with shared ownership homes also on the way, we’re giving people a great way to purchase a new home.
“We’re delighted to continue our commitment to affordable housing in Cambridgeshire and we think these new homes are a fantastic addition to the area.”
Muir are making 28 properties available for affordable rent, with a further 12 set to put people on the property ladder through shared ownership with Homes By Muir.
Built by Vistry Group, all of the 40 Muir homes on site are set to be completed by the end of 2025.
Muir’s Development Officer, Annette Westwater said: “We’re really excited to be receiving the first ten homes and we look forward to seeing them enjoyed by new Muir residents.
“With rent and shared ownership opportunities, and the different types of properties available, we really have tried to provide a little bit of something for everyone and meet various needs.”
