‘FANTASTIC’ NEW HOMES FINISHED IN FYLDE – WITH MUIR ON THE WAY!
‘FANTASTIC’ new homes have been finished in Fylde as villagers begin living a more affordable life with Muir.
The final three properties at Muir’s Warton development are welcoming new residents after all 20 of the 2-bed homes on site were made available for affordable rent.
They become the latest Muir homes to hit the streets in the area as the Association continues to develop a 31-home site at the area’s Cropper Road, having already provided five shared ownership properties at Wrea Green during 2018.
“Our investment in new affordable homes in Fylde really underlines our commitment to the area,” Alex Fury, Muir’s Assistant Director of Assets and Growth said.
“The first of our Warton homes were completed in 2016 so it’s great to know the last few are welcoming new people too.
“By the end of 2021 we’ll hope to have completed 56 new homes in Fylde during a five-year period – giving families a range of opportunities to become shared owners or rent their own homes at affordable prices.”
Muir has worked with Barratt Homes to deliver the new Warton development and the Association’s Development Officer, Annette Westwater, said she was excited to see the properties complete.
“It’s fantastic,” Annette said.
“We are so pleased to complete this development and provide the final homes to new residents.
“Muir is proud to be delivering so many new affordable homes in Fylde.
“We look forward to seeing them enjoyed as we also await completion of the first new homes at Cropper Road in the New Year.
