Fun-filled calendar set to give youngsters an action-packed summer
A FREE fun-filled calendar of activities is set to take place throughout the summer holidays as youngsters look forward to their forthcoming six-week break.
The football, dance and soft-play activities proved popular with children last year, and are being repeated six-days-a-week from July 26th-September 1st to help give youngsters plenty to enjoy.
Muir Group Housing Association has been working with the Greenfields Park, Glebe Green and Over (GGO) community group, as well as Weaver Vale Housing Trust, to provide funding for a free action-packed series of summer events.
Muir Tenancy Services Officer, Robert Burrows (pictured), said: “It’s great to be able to help deliver these activities once more, completely free of charge, and we look forward to seeing youngsters enjoy their summer holidays.
“These activities will also help parents out too as we know it isn’t always easy to keep children entertained.
“We are pleased to once again work with GGO and Weaver Vale to make these activities possible, and encourage as many youngsters to make the most of them and have a brilliant time.”
Details of where and when the free football, dance and soft play activities will take place are listed below.

To get involved, print and complete the simple registration form below, or on one of the flyers you may have seen which also advertise these events, and take it along to your first session.
You don’t have to attend every day, or even for the full four hours – just drop in and out as you please.
