'I FEEL LIKE A KARDASHIAN' - RESIDENT’S INSTAGRAM CHANNEL BECOMES A SOCIAL MEDIA HIT AS SHE POSTS ABOUT HER NEW MUIR HOME
A NEW Muir resident says she feels like a Kardashian after she became a social media 'star' while documenting her move on Instagram.
Danielle Hulme has had offers from companies asking her to promote their products after she shared pictures from her new Muir home on the popular social media platform.
She created a new Instagram account just to post about the move so she’d have a keepsake to remember moving into the property near Nantwich with husband Jordan.
But interest in her newly-built Muir home snowballed and she quickly saw hundreds of followers commenting and following her account as she settled in.
“I’ve had loads of nice comments and messages, and lots of companies have showed an interest too; I’ve even been asked to promote their products,” Danielle said.
“I already had an Instagram account but I only started a new one so Jordan and I would have a keepsake of our move into this house.
“As we’ve decorated and done things around the place it’s got more interest.”
Danielle and Jordan posted pictures as they decorated various rooms and did things in their garden while they settled in.
She told Muir that having a walk-In wardrobe in the property made her feel like a celebrity too.
“I feel like a Kardashian,” Danielle joked. “I never thought I’d have a walk-in wardrobe.”
The couple moved into the newly-built Muir home in Willaston just two months ago and are already loving living at the property which the Association provided for affordable rent, having moved closer to family and friends from their previous house in Crewe.
“It’s a lot easier to see my mum and do shopping for her, and my sister who’s just had a new baby,” said Danielle.
“My best friend lives literally just opposite so this is a really great move for us.
“We’re in a much quieter area than before and able to take our dog for nice walks in the fields nearby.
“Muir were really good and kept us informed throughout everything. It was really easy and we’re loving it.”
