It's all hands on deck as Muir responds to storm damage
MUIR would like to reassure residents that it is doing all it can to repair damage done by Storms Doris and Ewan.
Parts of the country were subjected to winds of more than 90mph as the recent storms span into town, displacing roof tiles and removing fence panels as many areas felt the full force of the stormy blasts.
The housing association has since been inundated with reports of damage, with its Customer Services Team receiving a high volume of calls which maintenance teams are already busy responding to - fixing issues resulting from the storm.
Muir Group Housing Association’s Senior Customer Service Advisor, Lynne Rowell said: “We are doing all we can to repair damage created by Storms Doris and Ewan.
“The Customer Services Team at Muir has received a high number of calls as well as messages via email and social media about the damage caused.
“Obviously it will take time to rectify all of the problems that occurred, particularly to fencing which requires a vast number of new panels.
“However our residents can be reassured that we are doing all we can to respond to their reports and that our maintenance teams are extremely busy rectifying these problems.
“While the damage will no doubt cause some inconvenience; we thank customers for their patience during this time.”
