“IT’S BRILLIANT” – MUIR HOMES GIVE FOUNDATIONS FOR FAMILIES IN THE VILLAGE THEY LOVE
A FAMILY have found their perfect home in the village they love as new Muir properties arrived in the right place at the right price.
Rosemary Lee and her partner Grant are looking forward to ‘being a proper family’ after moving into one of Muir’s beautiful new Bunbury homes with their two-year-old daughter.
The homes enable Rosemary to remain in the Cheshire village where she’s lived all her life, saying ‘it’s brilliant’ how Muir have bridged the housing gap to keep people in the community together.
“I’ve lived in Bunbury all my life,” Rosemary said.
“My mum and all my school friends live here and I worked in the local shop.
“It’s brilliant what Muir have done because these homes are helping people to stay in the village.
“I was so happy when they became available. Now we can be a proper family.”
The brand-new two-bed house suited their pockets when Muir made three of the five new properties on the development available for affordable rent.
With two three-bed houses also provided for shared ownership, it’s helped villagers like Rosemary to stay true to their roots despite escalating house prices.
“People are moving in next door that I’ve known for years because they can afford to stay here now too,” Rosemary said.
“House prices in the village are silly, but these Muir homes are perfect.
“The rooms are nicely sized and everything more than meets expectations.”
And Rosemary also says the support she’s received from Muir has made the process of moving in run really smoothly.
“Our housing officer has kept us informed of everything we need to know,” added Rosemary.
“Muir have been nice and friendly and they’re always available.
“They get back to us when we contact them – I can’t fault it.”
