MILL LANE DEVELOPMENT COMPLETES AS WARRINGTON WELCOMES MORE NEW MUIR HOMES

THE final homes at our new Mill Lane in community Warrington have been completed – enabling people to make new memories in new homes at prices they can afford.

Some of the new 27 homes are already being enjoyed by new Muir residents, benefiting from a range of affordable rent and shared ownership opportunities.

Including a mix of two and three-bed terraced and semi-detached homes, we’ve worked with Highhall Developments to deliver the new estate – providing 14 properties for shared ownership, all sold off plan by ‘Homes By Muir’, and 13 for affordable rent.

All homes are built to a high sustainability standard including Air Source Heat Pumps.

Kitchen“It’s great to see people enjoying these new homes already,” Alex Fury, Muir’s Assistant Director of Development said.

“We completed nine of the homes in June and we’re looking forward to welcoming more new residents now the remaining 18 properties have been completed.

“We’ve been really excited to see Mill Lane become a reality – providing people and families with homes to be happy in.”

The Mill Lane development, which benefited from Homes England grant funding, forms part of our five-year Building New Homes Strategy – launched in 2022 with the aim of developing 500 new homes that offer a range of affordable housing opportunities.

Muir homesNew resident, Zoe Preece said: “Moving here has made such a positive difference to our lives—it’s more than just a house, it’s a proper home and we’re all so happy here.

“It’s clear Muir put a lot of thought into making sure everything was a great fit for everyone, the entire street seems happy.

“The house itself is incredible. It’s finished to a high standard, much better than what we were ever hoping for and a dream come true.

“We're enjoying the modern features like USB sockets, which our teenager loves, a heat pump, and an electric car charger.”
